[He moves so he's kneeling on the bench and leans his forehead on Otoha's shoulder.]

Well, too bad I don't.

Perhaps, if I did, it would be easier...

[He sits up and opens Otoha's jacket a bit.]

You'll get blood on your clothes if you don't get them out of the way.

I'm not sure either of us could if we tried, anymore.

[He thinks for a moment, and indicates for Johnny to follow him.]

Let's do this at the bar. It'll be easier.

[And there's a certain amount of irony involved with 'having a drink'.]

[He sighs and nods.]

Fine. If you want.

[He doesn't say anything, just keeps walking with Johnny towards the bar.]

[Johnny doesn't say anything at first, either. Just silently links his arm with Otoha's, eyes forward.]

Hm...stargazing and movies. We should go to the movies sometime, Otoha~

[He doesn't pull away, at least.]

Yeah? I haven't seen any new movies in years. My brother made me watch The Godfather about a thousand times, though. I could probably quote a lot of it but my accent for English is actually pretty terrible, apparently.

Heh. Of course, you'd be more likely to find 'The Codfather' here.

[They turn a corner, and the bar's sign is visible from down the street.]

[Johnny smirks and brings a hand to his forehead.]

Oh, I do so love it when you bring me home, Otoha~~

[A small piece of hope said that if he was ridiculous enough, then Otoha would walk away in anger....it usually worked with Chris, at least.]

[He just rolls his eyes a little and keeps walking, unlocking the door. He holds it open for the vampire, flicking the lights on. The bottles are all put away, and there's a slight scent of damp earth coming from the back.]

[That 'slight' smell is strong for the vampire and it makes him cover his nose a moment.]

I've heard of a 'man-cave' but you didn't have to go and make yours smell like an actual cave; what are you doing with your bar?

[He whaps Johnny lightly on the back of the head.]

Don't be an ass. I'm growing herbs, okay?

[Johnny just grins at him and wanders in, going straight for the plants to look at them.]

Oh, really~? Why, may I ask~?

[bakegarasu]

[They're in the storeroom in the back, on a little windowsill garden in the sunlight. There's some yarrow, comfrey, and feverfew in a small box garden, and some peppermint in a separate pot. There's also a book on medicinal herbs resting next to them.]

[Otoha just trails along behind Johnny.]

Part of being a Karas is treating the demons for illness, since they can't exactly go to a doctor. I couldn't cure anything, but I could help them with their pain a little. I thought maybe some medicinal herbs could be useful.

[Johnny looked the plants and the book over and nodded. It was a good idea and these were good herbs to have.

He moved back to Otoha, threw his arms around the man's neck, and gave a dreamy sigh.]

Aaah~ I love a man with a green thumb~~ [His tone sobers and he really smiles.] But, really, if you ever need any help, let me know. It's a good idea and I know a fair bit about medicinal herbs. It might be ancient knowledge, but I like to think it's still useful~

[He just... pats Johnny on the shoulder awkwardly.]
